Long Hu (White Dragon Lake)·100,000 mu olive planting base I、Project Background
Sichuan Forestry Scientific Research Institute was entrusted in Nov.1998 to make a 《Feasibility Study on 100,000 mu olive planting park of Bai Long Hu Scenic Area of Guangyuan City》，the project was listed and approved by Sichuan Planning Comission in Oct.1999 with a No.[1999]986 II、Construction of the Planting Park The park covers the central district of Guangyuan, Wangchang county, Qingchuan county, Cangxi county, Jiange county, Yuanba district, Lizhou development zone, Yuan Jia Ba development zone etc. totally 500,000 mu is planned, among which the first stage is around 100,000 mu with a total olive of 3,300,000. III、Processing Projects The company built a modern oil pressing factory with imported advanced automatic oil pressing equipment, it is capable to process fresh olive of 33,000 Ton and produce olive oil annually of 5940 ton（edible 3000 ton，2940 ton for industry purpose）。Its annual revenue exceeds RMB 213 million. IV、Ways of Operating 100,000 mu of olive is planted by "company + base + farmers" mode, in orther words, the company will build the seedling bases and nurture quality seedlings for farmers who plant them in accordance  with
the company's technical requirements. When olive the farmers is harvested,
the company will be responsible for purchasing them back. Meanwhile,
the company hires the experts from Sichuan Forestry Scientific Research
Institute and China Academy of Forestry to jointly build a quality
olive model park in the Bai Long He area. |
